In seguito alla vicenda spiacevole che ha visto coinvolto don Claudio Albanito, parroco di Rose, l’Arcivescovo di Cosenza-Bisignano, S.E. Rev.ma monsignor Francesco Nolè, che ne ha seguito personalmente, sin dalle prime ore gli sviluppi e primariamente si è preoccupato dello stato di salute e della serenità del giovane sacerdote, tiene a precisare quanto segue:
La Chiesa cosentina, insieme al suo Vescovo, segue con attenzione quanto accaduto ed esprime al caro fratello don Claudio piena fiducia e fraternità nel lavoro pastorale che svolge; mentre si richiama tutti alla pacificazione sociale ed ecclesiale e alla serenità delle relazioni nell’ambito della comunità civile e religiosa l’invito è a non cadere nell’allarmismo e nel facile giudizio. Nonostante il sacerdote, ad oggi, non abbia voluto sporgere denuncia per l’affetto alla comunità di cui è padre, le autorità preposte ed in particolare i Carabinieri della locale stazione stanno svolgendo d’ufficio le opportune indagini. In seguito all’esito di esse l’Arcivescovo prenderà le opportune decisioni in merito e invita l’autore, o chi è conoscenza del fatto, a collaborare con le forze dell’ordine perché il dubbio di un atto sacrilego non ricada su persone innocenti o su tutta la comunità.La solidarietà, la vicinanza e la preghiera sono assicurate dalla Chiesa diocesana e dal suo Vescovo al sacerdote e alla comunità parrocchiale e a quanti stanno soffrendo interiormente per questa triste vicenda.
